Cheryl Wiethoff was killed when her vehicle ran head-on into a vehicle driven by Lacey Pfirrman on U.S. Hwy. 301 near the intersection of Breckenridge Pkwy. Wiethoff was reportedly driving northbound in the southbound lanes of U.S. Hwy. 301. Pfirrman was also seriously injured in the crash. Florida Statute 316.081, titled “Driving on right side of roadway, exceptions,” states that a driver is required to drive on the right side of the road, unless certain exceptions apply.
